The first thing you should know about Little Book of Words is that we’re not a traditional publishing company. We may not be the best resource for writing prompts, but we hope our process inspires you to create.
To keep our inspirational books affordable and maintain the quality and style our readers count on, we handle everything in house. We work directly with authors to conceptualize, edit, publish and distribute our titles. You won’t see any of our books available in your local bookstore or on Amazon.
The second thing to know is that our process is reader-focused — we want to encourage more people to read by producing pocket-sized inspirational books on topics they care about. Little Book of Words titles are meant to serve specific audiences. We look for authors who have expertise in an area, those who have accumulated wisdom they can share with others in similar situations, whether it’s foster children who need guidance or people looking to change jobs late in life. For each proposed subject, our research team works directly with the target audience to determine the level of interest, gather information, and help shape the message.
So if you already have a manuscript or just have a great idea for an inspirational book, we’re probably not the publisher for you.
